From Boring Booth to Interactive Superhero Showcase—Thanks to AI
After years of the same old booth routine, we took a leap and built an interactive superhero experience. My goal was simple: show attendees how our solutions turn them into fundraising superheroes.
I started by using Bare Conductive’s Interactive Wall Kit—touch sensors, electric paint, and a computer—to make every tap on our booth wall come alive. Each time someone touched it, we projected animations that lit up the space with vibrant color, sound, and motion.
Designing that extra “wow” factor was the next challenge. We built a custom projector stand from aluminum, making it sturdy yet portable for easy setup. For the wall itself, we took a classic comic-book approach. We kept the design in monochrome so that when someone touched the sensors, the black-and-white panels exploded with full color, creating a dramatic visual transformation.
Booth Concept and Mockups
To bring our superhero narrative to life, we turned to AI. ChatGPT helped us brainstorm superhero gadget concepts inspired by our own marketing tools. Meanwhile, MidJourney and Runway AI generated images and supported the animations, ensuring each panel matched our comic-book aesthetic. Blending AI’s efficiency with our creative vision allowed me to build an immersive experience that flowed seamlessly from one panel to the next.

The result was immediate and unforgettable. Instead of a quick stop at the booth, people stayed to interact and ask questions about the animations and gadgets. We transformed what could have been dry product information into a fun, hands-on story that highlighted our company’s value. By embracing new technology and a fresh concept, we proved that a conference booth can be more than just a place to pick up brochures—it can be an unforgettable interactive adventure.
